Our commitments: Diversity

AREVA is convinced that business should reflect the society in which it operates. A key factor of performance, diversity is a way of enriching skills and expertise. Through its Diversity and Equal Opportunities department, AREVA implements a strategy based on four founding commitments:
- to employ people with disabilities;
- to encourage social, ethnic and cultural diversity;
- to employ seniors;
- to favor professional equality between female and male employees.
In 2010, AREVA obtained the Diversity label (awarded by Afnor : Association française de Normalisation is the French national organization for standardization and its International Organization for Standardization member body) in recognition of its commitment to the prevention of discrimination and to the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity.
Encouraging the employment of people with disabilities
AREVA is committed to providing rewarding professional opportunities for people with disabilities.
Encouraging social, ethnic and cultural diversity
Working with local authorities and organizations, AREVA is dedicated to offering employment opportunities to all members of society.
Favoring the employment of seniors and age management
AREVA has launched a special “seniors policy”. Its aim is to ensure the transfer of skills and knowledge and to value talents at every stage of life.
Favoring professional equality between men and women
Equal pay, parental support, workplace child care and more... AREVA has taken concrete steps to encourage equality and parity in the workplace.
