Dialogue section: how does it work?
In the Dialogue section of the AREVA website, you can ask questions about energy or the group’s activities. You can also start discussions and share your point of view with other site visitors using the comments function. Learn how it works.
Lively debate, open dialogue
Always accessible, the Dialogue section is open to anyone. You can start discussions on topics linked to energy as well as the AREVA group and its activities. Logging in allows you to comment on the questions and responses of site visitors and experts alike. It’s an opportunity for genuine discussion!
How the Dialogue section works at a glance
Post a question or a comment: four step instructions
How do I log in?
Online discussions can be viewed without logging in. To contribute, simply choose a user ID and password and enter a valid email address. You will receive a message confirming that your user ID is available. If you already have an account, fill out the “user ID” and “password” fields located in the login area on the right and click to enter. You are ready to take part!
How do I post a question?
Once you have registered and logged in, choose a topic and then click “Ask a question”. Fill out the 2 mandatory fields on the form. After clicking to enter, you will receive a message confirming that your question was sent.
Will I be notified if someone responds to or comments on my question?
The question form includes a check box for this purpose. By checking this box, you will be alerted by email when an expert publishes a response or a site visitor leaves a comment. An icon will appear to the right of the question title if an expert has responded to you.
How will my question be moderated before publication?
The moderator will check that your question respects the Dialogue section’s user guidelines in terms of content and form. Moderation time can vary depending on several factors, including the complexity of your question and when you post it. In the end, it is staff who manage the technical platform and moderate contributions. For example, if you send your question at 11pm, it will not appear until the following day.
Who answers my questions?
The AREVA experts listed in the section will answer questions that relate to their areas of expertise. The experts in charge of large sections are there to set the tone, while the platform moderator only oversees and organizes contributions.
Once my question has been published, what happens to my question?
It is archived in a file that corresponds to the general theme of your question. You can view your question at any time, and read any comments and expert responses. Another way to find it is the questions search engine.
How can I post a comment?
Once you have logged in, you can react to the questions of other site visitors. The “Comment on this question” link in the “Visitor comments” tab takes you to a form where you can leave your comment. It will be subject to the same moderation process as questions.
What do the grades next to questions mean?
Does a certain subject seem particularly important or attract your attention? Voting for a subject emphasizes it to other participants and indicates your approval or interest. You can vote only once for each question. Depending on your positive or negative opinion, the question grade increases or decreases. Based on the total score, the question is labelled “correct”, “promising”, “vote on this” or “off topic”.
