Sustainable development is the cornerstone of the AREVA group's industrial strategy. It is implemented as part of a continuous improvement initiative called AREVA WAY. The initiative seeks to drive growth that is profitable, socially responsible, and environmentally sustainable. To achieve its objectives, the group operates on a networked management system which tracks non-financial performance indicators.
Non-financial performance indicators supporting continuous improvement
AREVA evaluates its sustainable development performance in terms of sustainable development through indicators which are non-financial but are integrated into budgetary processes.
Social and environmental benchmarking
As proof of its commitment to continuous improvement, AREVA commissioned a non-financial benchmarking assessment. This was performed by Innovest, and complemented by a study conducted by Vigeo.
