Thanks to its international network and its in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, AREVA offers global solutions to its customers for the transportation of their nuclear materials. The quality of service and safety are on the same level of importance throughout our worldwide operations.
The geographical distributions of fuel cycle plants, mineral extraction sites, recycling plants and power plants require the implementation of adapted transportation solutions.
Both upstream and downstream in the nuclear cycle, we offer integrated, multizone and multimodal transport solutions.

Over 800 flows supervised
- High, systematic, global safety. We supervise all our transportation flows, always focused on safety: we perform risk analysis studies and implement strict crisis management procedures. We impose demanding qualification procedures for our service providers and their equipment.

Proven expertise
Over 200 heavy TN 12-type packages - dedicated to the transportation of spent fuel - are loaded each year and routed to AREVA’s reprocessing plant in La Hague.
Over 1000 packages are transported through our truck/train hub located near AREVA’s La Hague spent fuel reprocessing plant.
Over 4000 U3O8- and UF6 packages and U02 assemblies are transported yearly by our group.
