Olivier Wantz holds a Master of Advanced Studies (DESS) from the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises de Paris. He joined the Siemens group in 1983, where he held various positions, first in the field of medical engineering, then, in 1995, in telecommunications with the Australian subsidiary. In 2000, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Transportation Systems.
Olivier Wantz joined the AREVA group in 2005 as Chief Financial Officer of the subsidiary AREVA NP. In 2010, he was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of Engineering & Projects. He was named Senior Executive Vice President, Operations Support and a member of the Executive Board in July 2011.
In March 2012 he is named Senior Executive Vice President, Mining Business Group.
