Coordination and steering committees

The Executive Board has given broad delegations of authority to four coordination and steering committees at the Group level.

Operations Committee

The Operations Committee is chaired by Philippe Knoche, Chief Operating Officer, or by the Senior Executive Vice President of Operations Support.
It meets every two weeks.

Roles

  • Reviews operational matters transversal to the Business Groups, the Engineering & Projects organization and the operating support functions (Procurement, SHSE, etc.)
  • Allocates shared resources
  • Defines harmonized performance criteria (financial, operational, safety, etc.), validates methods and monitors performance improvement
  • Initiates and validates cross-business policies and roadmaps and monitors their implementation

Major Offers Committee

The Major Offers Committee is chaired by Luc Oursel, President and Chief Executive Officer, or Ruben Lazo, Chief Commercial and Executive Officer.
It meets every two weeks.

Roles

  • Validates the general direction of major offers throughout the proposal process
  • Reviews matters to be submitted to the Executive Board for approval: teaming arrangements, negotiating strategies, contract conditions, prices, etc.

Major Projects Committee

The Major Projects Committee is chaired by Luc Oursel, President and Chief Executive Officer, or Philippe Knoche, Chief Operating Officer.
The committee meets every two weeks.

Roles

  • Oversees the execution of major projects (customer relationship, costs, schedule, risks and opportunities, procurement, quality, regulatory process, etc.)
  • Makes recommendations and authorizes appropriate action
  • Recommends performance improvement actions to the Operations Committee and to the Executive Board

Human Resources Committee

The Human Resources Committee is chaired by Philippe Vivien, Senior Executive Vice President, Human Resources.
The committee meets every two months.

Roles

  • Validates, implements and assesses assesses key human resources management policies and processes (People Review, training, compensation, etc.)
