Philippe Hatron
Vice-President, Audit
Philippe Hatron has a Master degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Rouen. He began his career at Price Waterhouse in Paris in 1988 and became manager in 1993. In 1995, he moved to the Audit Division of the Finance Department of AREVA NC. In 1998, he went to work in the US as Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Transnuclear, Inc., a subsidiary specializing in used fuel cask transportation and engineering.
When in his post, he was involved in the acquisition and integration of several subsidiaries. In 2001, he was named the Financial Controller of the Nuclear Measurements Business Unit of AREVA. He also headed the Business Unit’s Human Resources Department from 2003 to 2005 and was Executive Vice-President and CFO of CANBERRA, the Group’s Nuclear Measurements subsidiary.
Since 2006, he has been appointed Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of AREVA Inc, as well as member of the Executive Management Committee of AREVA North America. Philippe Hatron has been in charge of Executive positions in the US since 1998, and he is currently pursuing an International Executive MBA at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
