As a leading player in the field of carbon-free energy, AREVA is one of the top industrial companies in the world. The group operates in a competitive and changing world, within which communications are crucial in order to stand out from the rest. With this is mind, AREVA needs to consolidate its reputation and leadership across the world, based on a consistent, global basis covering all of its targets.

The corporate advertising campaigns therefore aim to:

  • make AREVA an even more attractive brand,
  • develop and consolidate its reputation,
  • strengthen its identity as the leading industrial group in the field of carbon-free energy.

"Energy Experts" campaign: the start of a success story

With this campaign, launched globally in 2004 (Europe, United States and Asia), the group intended to:

  • bolster the visibility of the AREVA brand,
  • promote and explain its expertise,
  • reveal the cohesion of its different work in energy.

AREVA created a TV ad "Energy Experts", which was designed as an educational tool that illustrates and summarizes each stage of the group's industrial cycle.

Looking back at the success of this ad, the campaign was re-run regularly in both France and elsewhere (United States, India) until 2009.

AREVA broadcast in France and across Europe

In the spring of 2008 in France and across Europe, AREVA returned to television and the Internet with its ad campaign entitled “Energy Experts”. The program consisted of a modern, fun 30-second spot that consolidated its reputation and presented AREVA as an increasingly attractive brand.

In the spring and summer of 2008, AREVA returned to American television screens as well as the Internet with its ad campaign “Energy Experts”, aiming to consolidate its image among opinion leaders. A modern, fun 30-second spot was run in 2 waves.

Recruitment campaign: discovering the best talents in all their diversity

In view of future energy challenges and in order to cater to the group's growth, AREVA needs to attract the best applicants in France and abroad.

Therefore, in 2009, the group launched a new recruitment campaign - for the first time rolled out simultaneously in 6 strategic regions: France, Germany, North America, China, India and the Middle East. The aim: to invite the 12,000 people who will join AREVA over the coming year to engage in an ambitious project and to give impetus to their professional career.

Athletics at the heart of the new campaign

Launched in June 2009, a new corporate advertising campaign concentrating on TV and web ads revolves around AREVA's substantial, lasting commitment to athletics.

Three original animated films depict the key tests of athletics: throwing, running and jumping. Highlighted with the slogan "Energize the athlete in you", each story introduces people in everyday life who, without knowing it, use the energy resources of an athlete.

The original visuals and music that brought such success to the "Energy experts" ad have been included. The ads revive the hit song "Funkytown" and use a fun, modern animation, once again beating all other corporate advertising.
