Audit Committee
The Audit Committee helps the Supervisory Board exercise its powers and responsibilities in the following areas: integrity of published financial data, internal controls, execution of the internal audit function, independence and performance of the Statutory Auditors, risk management, financial planning, monitoring of major projects and business ethic standards.

Role
- Help define the group’s accounting, financial and ethics standards
- Conduct studies at the request of the Supervisory Board or on its own initiative
- Review budgets, financial statements and multi-year plans
- Verify the quality of financial information made public by the company
- Consult the Statutory Auditors to support the Supervisory Board’s oversight role
- Recommend renewal of the Statutory Auditors’ term or appointment of a new firm
- Develop a risk map and estimate the resources required to manage risk
