Governance dedicated to efficiency and transparency

AREVA governance was developed with efficiency and transparency in mind and adapted to the specific nature of the group’s operations. With oversight by the Supervisory Board, 3 other bodies share responsibility for corporate governance: the Executive Board, Board Committees and the Science and Ethics Committee.
Supervisory Board: an oversight body
The Supervisory Board oversees the Executive Board’s management of the group and reviews AREVA’s overall strategy.
Executive Board: broad decision-making power
The Executive Board is responsible for managing the company. Its authorities grant it the broadest powers in AREVA’s governance.
Board Committees: specialized areas of expertise
The Committees provide opinions, proposals and recommendations to the Supervisory Board in areas related to corporate governance.
Science and Ethics Committee: anticipating solutions for the future
Composed of experts from civil society, the Committee helps the group reflect on future energy issues.
