Central African Republic: BIP Humanitaire

A new lease on life for medical equipment
The AREVA Foundation provides support to the BIP Humanitaire association. This collaboration enables the distribution of medical equipment.
BIP Humanitaire: equipping and renovating medical centers
France’s BIP Humanitaire association brings humanitarian and material aid to people in the “fourth world”.
This association recovers medical equipment from public and private bodies, assesses its usefulness, stores it and then allocates it to partner associations to equip and restore medical centers in various countries. BIP Humanitaire serves as an inter-associative platform, a collection center and a logistics partner devoted to humanitarian activities.
In 2008, the AREVA Foundation made a donation to provide equipment to 2 hospitals in the Central African Republic.
