Italy: Loyola de Palacio Chair

Research into energy issues
The AREVA Foundation chose to support the Loyola de Palacio Chair at the European University Institute in Florence. In particular, the group is supporting an energy research program.
A European chair on energy
The AREVA Foundation has supported the Loyola de Palacio Chair since 2008. The post was created by the European University Institute in Florence and has been hosted by the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies for 5 years.
This partnership enables us to work alongside a research program devoted to energy issues (political and strategic problems, European regulations, security of supply, the environment, etc).
It gives us the opportunity to honor the memory of Mrs. Loyola de Palacio, a European Energy Commissioner who dedicated her entire career to the field of energy.
