AREVA carries out cultural patronage activities in several countries where it operates: Brazil, China, Finland and France. Cultural patronage is symbolic of the ongoing, vibrant relationships that link the group and these countries.

France: Les Amis de Gicon

AREVA is working with the Friends of Gicon in the renovation of a château, taking care of the installation of renewable energy generator equipment.

Brazil: Year of France

In collaboration with Culturesfrance, AREVA has joined a committee for patronage of the arts to fund artistic events in Brazil.

China: Chinese Cultural Center in Paris

AREVA has funded an exhibition to promote Chinese heritage at the Chinese Cultural Center in Paris - the first to be established in Europe.

France: Year of Turkey

This event will show off Turkish culture, skills and expertise across the French regions. AREVA has taken up a place on the patronage committee.

Finland: 100% Finland

AREVA supported "100% Finland": a cultural program intended to showcase the innovative Finnish spirit.

France: Festival de la correspondance de Grignan

Since 2001 AREVA has been supporting the Grignan Correspondence Festival, which every year pays tribute to epistolary art. In 2008, focus was on the great painters.
