  • Philippe SAMAMA is appointed Senior Executive Vice President of the Reactors and Services Business Group. He reports directly to Philippe KNOCHE, Chief Operating Officer.
    This appointment is effective since June 1, 2014.
  • Catherine CORNAND is appointed Flamanville 3 Project Director. She reports to Jean-Bernard VILLE, Large Projects Business Division Executive Vice President.
    This appointment is effective since September 1, 2014.
  • Patrick ANIERE is appointed Director Competency Center Project Management. He reports to Eric CHASSARD, Senior Executive Vice President Engineering and Projects.
    This appointment is effective since July 1, 2014.
  • Laurent LEGRANDJACQUES is appointed President and Managing Director of Areva Korea. He reports to Rémy AUTEBERT, Senior Executive Vice President Asia Region.

  • Régis HASLE is appointed Deputy Project Director for « Angra 3 » project. He reports to Thorsten KAMMERZELL, « Angra 3 » Project Director within the Large Projects Business Division.

  • Antoine RAIN is appointed Vice President Legal Back End Business Group. He reports to Jens BÜRKLE, General Counsel of the Nuclear Activities, and functionally to Dominique MOCKLY, Senior Executive Vice President, Back End Business Group.

  • Philippine DU REPAIRE is appointed Vice President Financial Communication and Investor Relations. She reports to Pierre AUBOUIN, Chief Financial Executive Officer.

  • Nicolas MAES is appointed Executive Vice President of the Installed Base Business Division, within the Reactors and Services Business Group. He reports directly to Philippe Samama, Senior Executive Vice President of the Reactors and Services Business Group.

Biographical information

portrait Samama

Philippe Samama began his career in 1990 with the Saint Gobain group as business manager for France and Germany and later became site director. He then joined the Lighting Branch of Valeo, where he was named General Manager of the France Division in 2000. In 2002, he took over the management of ECL, a subsidiary of the Pechiney/Alcan group, as CEO. In 2007, he joined the Transmission & Distribution BG of the AREVA group as Vice President of the Services BU. Since 2010, he has been the Installed Base Business Unit Executive Vice President in charge of the solutions for the upgrade and the maintenance of reactors in operation.

portrait Catherine Cornand

Catherine Cornand started her professional career in the defense industry piloting key weaponry programs such as the Rafale with the DGA (Direction Générale d’Armement) and nuclear submarines with the DCNS. In 2008 she joined AREVA to head the program for nuclear boilers on the nuclear attack submarine the BARRACUDA. At the beginning of 2014, she became the Deputy Project Director of the EPR project Flamanville 3.

portrait Patrick Aniéré

Patrick Aniéré started his career at Framatome in 1977. After 13 years in physical trials he was named Director of the N4 Project. In 2001 he became the head of the Engineering Services Division. Soon after, in 2002, he was appointed Director of the Flamanville 3EPR reactor. Since 2007 he has been the Deputy Director of the Taishan project.

portrait Laurent LEGRANDJACQUES

Laurent Legrandjacques joined AREVA in 1994. After holding positions in R&D, project management and site services in AREVA's Technical Center, he joined Intercontrôle (Installed Base) in 2000 as Manager of the Engineering Department. In 2005, he developed the mobile equipment business of the Manufacturing Division in the United States. In 2010 he is appointed CEO de Transnuclear Tokyo, Ltd. In 2012, his mission was extended to Asia as Vice President Asia of Nuclear Logistics Operations.

Régis Haslé joined AREVA in 2009 after an eight-year stint in strategy consulting at Corporate Value Associates and then at the Boston Consulting Group. He held several positions at Corporate level among them the one of Vice President, Strategic Planning and was appointed plant Manager for Rugles factory within the Front End Business Group in July 2012.

portrait Catherine Schreck

Catherine Schreck began her career in 1978 in the Engineering Department of Framatome. After a short spell in the Nuclear Safety Department, she worked on a range of projects, among them France's 1300 MW reactor series. Then she joined the Engineering and Services Division where she headed until the end of 2002, proposing engineering services to plant operators in France and around the world. In 2007, she was appointed Assistant Director for the EPR project Flamanville 3, and became Project Director one year later.

Antoine Rain started his career in 1988 as a Legal Advisor at the Finnish corporation Wartsila. In 1992 he joined Alcatel Alstom at Cegelec where he occupied the position of International Contracts Manager, later taking the appointment of International Legal Director at ALSTOM T&D in 1999. During the period 2005-2008 he was the Legal Deputy Director at AREVA T&D. Since 2008, Antoine Rain has been the Legal Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at the AREVA group.

Philippine du Repaire was investor relations manager within the Financial Communication and Investor Relations department for 3 years. She previously worked as financial controller within the Carrefour group.

portrait Maes

Nicolas Maes began his career in 1999 at the Lafarge group where he held several positions as Engineer in the Cement division. In 2006, he is appointed Director of the Cauldon Cement factory in the United Kingdom. In 2009, he came back to the Lafarge headquarters in France to hold the Marketing Vice President position for Central Europe and CIS. In April 2011, he joins the AREVA group as Vice President Operations of the Mining BG.
