COGEMA subsidiary in Niger earns ISO 14001 certification

The environmental committee of AFAQ, the French quality assurance association, has granted ISO 14001 certification to SOMAÏR, a mining subsidiary in Niger, marking the company's establishment of an environmental management organization comparable to those of major European companies. SOMAÏR is the first company to be awarded ISO 14001 certification in Niger.
