France and Finland sign nuclear cooperation agreement

A cooperative agreement in the nuclear field was signed yesterday by Pascal Colombani, administrator general of the CEA, and Erkki Leppavuori, president of VTT, the Finnish technical research center. The agreement covers radioactive waste management and spent fuel, education and training in nuclear science and technology, and information exchanges on these subjects as well as on nuclear safety.
