Bruce Power has received permission from Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) to restart Unites " and 4 of the Bruce A Nuclear Generating Station. The decision means that the units can be restart once a designed officer of the CNSC is satisfied that the reactors are safe to operate a full power. Together, Bruce Units 3 and 4 will provide 1500 MW of generating capacity. The firsts unit that returns to service will ve Unit 4 which has been refueled, to be followed by Unit 3. The Bruce Nuclear Generating Station is the world's second largest nuclear facility, and it produces approximately 15% of Ontario's electricity supply.
