A new web site, dedicated to MOX fuel, is unveiled today within the framework of the transport of MOX fuel from Europe to Japan. This web site is jointly operated by COGEMA, its subsidiary TRANSNUCLEAIRE, BNFL and ORC.
It provides comprehensive information on fabrication, utilisation and advantages of this recycled nuclear fuel as well as on the operational framework of its transport including safety and security features.
