Fourth return of vitrified residues to Japan. Announcement of the maritime route

On February 3, 1999, FEPC, COGEMA and BNFL announced that the voyage route for the return shipment of high level radioactive waste from France to Japan would be communicated one day after the actual departure date. The "Pacific Swan" has left Cherbourg on February 25 at 08:05 AM. She is now en route to Japan via Panama Canal. Approximate timing of arrival in Japan is in the middle of April.
