ISO 14001 certification for EURODIF Production

EURODIF Production was awarded ISO 14001 certification for all its activities by the Association Française pour l'Assurance Qualité (AFAQ) on 12 December.Given out by an independent organization, this certification indicates that the environmental management system meets the requirements of the ISO 14001 international standard.
It also attests to the effectiveness of procedures to continually improve the environmental performance of the uranium enrichment installations.Certification rewards the involvement of all the personnel in this quality improvement program, which began in 1999. It also reflects EURODIF Production's commitment to the sustainable development of its activities.
Efforts will continue to obtain quality management certification (ISO 9001) and to keep the environmental certification.With 13 industrial sites now ISO 14001-certified, the COGEMA Group is meeting its commitment to providing the means to diminish the environmental impact of its activities and to protecting people both inside and outside its installations
