UP2 plant :
At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of 900 MWe EDF fuel is in progress in the R1 head-end facility. A total of 693 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.
At the R7 vitrification facility, line C is in service. Lines A and B are on standby. A total of 448 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

UP3 plant :
At the UP3 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of 900 MWe EDF fuel is in progress in the T1 head-end facility. A total of 169 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.
At the T7 vitrification facility, line A is in service. Lines B and C are on standby. A total of 253 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

On December the 11th, a shipment of 28 canisters of vitrified residues leaved the railway terminal in Valognes to the specific storage at Zwilag (Würenlingen - Switzerland). This is the first return of vitrified residues from France to Switzerland.
