UP2 plant :
At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of 900 MWe EDF fuel is in progress in the R1 head-end facility. A total of 600 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.
At the R7 vitrification facility, lines B and C are in service. Line A is on standby. A total of 406 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

UP3 plant :
At the UP3 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from TIHANGE* is in progress in the T1 head-end facility. A total of 131 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.
At the T7 vitrification facility, lines A and B are in service. Line C is on standby. A total of 229 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.
Return of vitrified residues from France to Germany : A shipment of vitrified residues of reprocessing german spent fuels has leaved the railway terminal in Valognes on November the 11th. It arrived at GORLEBEN storage site (Germany) on November the 14th.
