UP2 plant :
At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of 900 MWe EDF fuel is in progress in the R1 head-end facility. A total of 495 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.

At the R7 vitrification facility, line A is in service. Lines B and C are on standby. A total of 360 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year. On October the 06th, R7 facility has produced his 5000th glass canister.

UP3 plant :
At the UP3 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from BRÜNSBÜTTEL* is in progress in the T1 head-end facility. A total of 73 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year. At the T7 vitrification facility, lines B and C are in service. Line A is on standby.

A total of 175 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year. On October the 11th at 11.45 am (local time), a transport containing 7 casks coming from german power plants, arrived at the railway terminal of Valognes.
