Departure of the fifth transport of vitrified residues from France to Germany

On november 4th COGEMA announced the next completion of the fifth railway transport of vitrified residues from France to Germany. This transport is scheduled to leave the COGEMA LOGISTICS railway terminal in Valognes (France) today to reach Germany.
The 12 CASTOR HAW 20/28 CG model casks of vitrified residues will then be unloaded from the wagons to be loaded on specific trucks and reach the German storage facility in Gorleben.
