Three casks of spent fuel from German nuclear power plants arrived at the Valognes railway terminal serving COGEMA La Hague on February 20th, 2003, at 8h18 a.m.
The fuel elements will be stored at the La Hague pools for cooling, and will be then reprocessed to recover valuable materials and condition the final waste for return to Germany for disposal.
