8th return of vitrified residues to Japan

On June, 2nd, 2003, COGEMA, BNFL and ORC announced that the route to be used and the approximate date of arrival in Japan would be announced following the departure.
The Pacific Swan, carrying vitrified residues back to Japan, has left Cherbourg – France - yesterday at 20H25 local time, and will transit to Japan via the Panama canal route.
She will arrive in Japan during the second half of July, 2003.
