At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of 1300 MWe EDF fuel began on the 17th August in the R1 head-end facility.
A total of 461 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.
At the R7 vitrification facility, line A is in service. Lines B and C are on standby.
A total of 266 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.
At the UP3 plant, T1 head-end facility is on shutdown period for maintenance.
A total of 231 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.
At the T7 vitrification facility, the three lines are on standby.
A total of 162 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.
We also inform you of the visit of the "Pacific Teal", which will be docked at the Mielles quay on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th August. 8 empty TN12 casks will be unloaded. These will first be transferred to the COGEMA rail terminal in Valognes, and then to the La Hague site.
