At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of EDF 900 MWe fuel continued in the R1 head-end facility. A total of 62 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.

At the R7 vitrification facility, lines A and B are in operation. A total of 22 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

At the UP3 plant, shearing of fuel elements from TIHANGE* began on January 27 in the T1 head-end facility. A total of 2 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.

At the T7 vitrification facility, line A is on stand-by; lines B and C are in operation. A total of 19 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

Work in the Moulinets Cove

Work continues on modifications to the discharge pipe in the tidal basin:

- radiological monitoring of sediments has revealed no anomalies, although there are fluctuations close to the old discharge pipe;
- preparations began for submersion of new sections of piping.
