At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of EDF 900 MWe fuel began on January 15 in the R1 head-end facility. A total of 11.5 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.

At the R7 vitrification facility, all three lines are on stand-by.

At the UP3 plant, all units are shut down in the T1 head-end facility.

At the T7 vitrification facility, all three lines are on stand-by.

Work in the Moulinets Cove

Work continues on modifications to the discharge pipe in the tidal basin:

- radiological monitoring of sediments has revealed no anomalies, although there are fluctuations close to the old discharge pipe;
- underwater excavation of the center section was completed; the bottom of the basin was fitted (placement of ballast and backfilling)
