Ninth return of vitrified residues to Japan

On January, 16, 2004, COGEMA announced that the route to be used and the approximate date of arrival in Japan would be released following the departure.

The Pacific Sandpiper carrying vitrified residues back to Japan, has left Cherbourg – France - yesterday Monday, 19, at  hhHmm local time, and will transit to Japan via the Panama Canal.

She will arrive in Japan during the first half of March 2004.
