Arrival of spent fuel from Switzerland at the Valognes railway terminal

One cask of spent fuel from swiss nuclear power plant arrived at the Valognes railway terminal serving COGEMA La Hague on March 19th, 2004, at 9:20 am.
The fuel elements shall be stored at the La Hague pools for cooling, and will be then reprocessed to recover valuable materials and condition the final waste for return to Switzerland for disposal.
