September 06, 2004
A cask of vitrified residues is scheduled to leave the COGEMA Logistics railway terminal in Valognes (France) today and reach Switzerland late on September 6, 2004.
This cask, a TN81 model, contains 28 canisters of vitrified residues. Upon its arrival in Würenlingen, it will be transfered to the storage facility of ZWILAG (Switzerland).
These cask and canisters have already been subjected to the regulatory and contractual controls allowing their shipment from the COGEMA La Hague reprocessing plant.
