10th return of vitrified residues to Japan

On February 16th, 2005, COGEMA announced that the route to be used and the approximate date of arrival in Japan would be released following the departure.
The Pacific Sandpiper, carrying vitrified residues back to Japan, has left Cherbourg – France – yesterday February, 17th, 2005 at 6h20 pm local time, and will transit to Japan via the Cape of Good Hope route.
She will arrive in Japan during the second half of April 2005.
