11th return of vitrified residues to Japan

On January 30th, 2006, COGEMA announced that the route to be used and the approximate date of arrival in Japan would be released following the departure.
The Pacific Sandpiper, carrying vitrified residues back to Japan, has left Cherbourg – France – yesterday February 1st, 2006 at 19:15 pm local time, and will transit to Japan via the Panama Canal route.
She will arrive in Japan during the second half of March 2006.
