ERAMET: SORAME-CEIR and AREVA to pursue cooperation

In May of this year, SORAME-CEIR and AREVA amended the pact on ERAMET shareholdings the two originally established on June 17, 1999. This amendment, signed on May 29, 2008 and published the following day in official notice #208C1042 of the French capital market authority (AMF), extended co-operations until December 31, 2008.

Provided neither party withdraws from the agreement, giving a 15-day official notice period, the new pact shall be tacitly renewed for a further six months.

SORAME-CEIR and AREVA have each made known their intention to pursue co-operations; the pact shall therefore be renewed on January 1, 2009.
