On December 10, 2007, the name of AREVA´s nuclear service company in Spain was changed from Tecnimarse S.L.U. into AREVA NP Services Spain S.L.U.. The new name will further boost the visibility of the AREVA brand in the energy market in Spain.
Since 2004, AREVA NP Services Spain is a 100 percent subsidiary of AREVA NP, the world leader in the design and construction of nuclear power plants, the supply of fuel, as well as maintenance and modernization services. AREVA NP Services Spain provides products and services for Pressurized Water Reactors and Boiling Water Reactors. It serves the Spanish and the international market through several activities focusing on sludge lancing, reactor floor services as well as valve, pump and motor maintenance. AREVA NP Services Spain is headquartered in Tarragona with another permanent local presence in Zaragoza.
