Anne Lauvergeon, CEO of the AREVA group, arrived in Niamey today.
She will meet with Head of State, Salou Djibo, to review the situation and discuss matters of security and the continuity of mining operations.
Mrs. Lauvergeon will go on to meet the Mining Minister and has called a meeting of AREVA employees based in Niger.
