AREVA today launched a new website for Poland, polska.areva.com. The website, fully in polish, gives visitors the opportunity to learn more about, AREVA’s operations, EPRTM technology and keep up with the AREVA’s activities in Poland.
In order to diversify its mix of energy sources and respond to growing energy challenges, Poland decided in 2009 to launch a civil nuclear program and plan to have its first power plant in operation as early as 2020. AREVA aims to help Poland meet energy demands with low-carbon energy solutions, and signed in April 2011 a memorandum of understanding with the Polish company Polimex-Mostostal to cooperate on the construction of the country’s first nuclear power plant.
Adam Rozwadowski, head of AREVA in Poland declared “We are happy to provide to our clients a Polish website dedicated to AREVA’s offer to help build a competitive and self-reliant nuclear industry in Poland.
