Following a press release reporting an anonymous statement concerning the acquisition of Uramin, AREVA would like to recall that the hearing held by members of the Commission des Finances de l’Assemblée Nationale (French National Assembly Finance Commission) to which the article refers was held behind closed doors.
By definition, closed-door hearings may not be commented upon. We comply by this rule, and the statements of those who contravene it are theirs alone. AREVA denies the statements released by this news agency.
