French Season in South Africa: AREVA, corporate philanthropist alongside major French companies

AREVA has joined the Institut Français in supporting the French Season in South Africa, launched yesterday.
This year, the Season runs from July to November, primarily in the four major South African cities of Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town. The hundred or so organized events cover the tourist, business, science and technology, sports and cultural sectors.
More specifically, AREVA is supporting the exhibition “20th Century Masters: the Human Figure”, inaugurated on July 12 at the Season kick-off in Johannesburg.
The exhibition shows works by French masters of the 20th century, from Manet, Degas and Cézanne to Picasso and Braque, and is presented by the Fine Arts Museum of Lyon and five major institutions of the Rhone-Alps region.
