Véronique Rouzaud is appointed Senior Executive Vice President, Human Resources.
She reports to Luc Oursel, President and Chief Executive Officer of AREVA, and is a member of the AREVA Executive Management Board.
This appointment will be effective as from January 1, 2013.
Véronique Rouzaud holds a master’s degree in private law from Panthéon-Assas University as well as a master’s from the Institut d'administration des entreprises of Panthéon-Sorbonne University. She began her human resources career in 1984 in the glass-making industry, later followed by the agri-food industry. She was with the Danone group (formerly BSN) for more than 11 years, with responsibilities at both production sites and at headquarters. She joined the Coca-Cola Entreprises group in 1995. Then in London she became the head of human resources for Coca-Cola Europe in 2001. In 2007, Véronique Rouzaud joined the Veolia Environnement group, a leader in environmental services (water, energy, cleanup and transportation), as Executive Vice President in charge of human resources and member of the Executive Committee.
Luc Oursel takes this opportunity to give special thanks to Philippe Vivien for his total commitment at his side since July 1, 2011 and more generally for his decisive contributions in the field of human resources throughout his career with the Group. As member of the Group for 27 years, Philippe Vivien has contributed substantially to the Group’s integration, to the development of its human resources and to the recognition of AREVA’s image through high-quality social relations and innovative agreements at Framatome and FCI, and subsequently throughout the Group. This exceptional work was recognized in 2010 when his peers awarded him the title of “HR Director of the Year”. Luc Oursel and all of AREVA’s teams wish Philippe Vivien much success as he embarks on a new professional and entrepreneurial career.
