For 20 years, MAINCO has been providing specialized services in the supply and retail management of spare parts and industrial supplies. Stock management and supply
MAINCO covers all aspects of stock management and supply. Working together with its customers, the company defines the approach to and procedures for the resupply of spare parts and supplies according to:
- risks associated with the site installations in question,
- supply constraints,
- desired servicing programs,
- optimal stock levels for the customer.
This re-supply approach enables the optimization of stock-keeping and the reduction of operating costs.
Spares retail operations
MAINCO interacts on-site with its customers, using nearby facilities to offer anticipatory, on-demand supply of parts at the best price.
Co-located with its customers, MAINCO handles all logistical operations including the receipt and unloading of shipments, quality and documentary control, stocking, delivery and inventory-keeping.
In its own warehouses, MAINCO assures supplier/customer handovers, storage and secure industrial packing. These warehouses are located at Tourlaville (50), Pont-Saint-Esprit (30), Saint-Paul-lez-Durance (13) and Six-Fours-les-Plages (83).
Purchasing and negotiations
MAINCO carries out strategic purchasing and sourcing.
The company also makes purchases of class C services and supplies.
Technical assurance of spare parts and supplies
MAINCO guarantees the entire logistics chain of spare parts and supplies during their life cycle. This involves:
- technical management of spare parts: designation, manufacturer referencing, planning, supply specification, compliance documentation.
- assurance of the availability of resources and competence necessary to establish technical specifications and assurance of audit documents for spare parts supply.
Inspection
MAINCO has developed an inspection activity which tracks item production at source, guaranteeing compliance with technical specifications.
MAINCO inspectors are engaged from the time of acquisition through to documented verification and final receipt of the material.
Logistics chain for low-level materials and wastes
Waste management
MAINCO handles every stage of waste management, from the opening of case files through to transportation to ANDRA. Its teams manage secure packing and radiological testing operations.
Specialized road transport
MAINCO has developed specialized road transport operations in:
- low-level nuclear wastes,
- contaminated tools,
- sensitive merchandise.
All of these operations are carried out in strict compliance with regulations.
Nuclear packaging solutions for transport and interim storage
In order to optimize management of low-level radioactive waste, MAINCO creates specific secure packing materials assuring the maintenance of all mechanical, climate, physical-chemical and thermic requirements for storage, handling, and transport of these materials.
