Aside from regular information with the Local Information Commission (LIC) of Marcoule-Gard in France, AREVA MELOX has been publishing an Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Report since 2007, in compliance with legal requirements on transparency and nuclear materials security.
The 2010 Report on Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection
Serving as a reference document, this report gives an account of the management of the AREVA MELOX plant in terms of environmental practice, nuclear safety, protection against radiation, health and draw up a balance sheet of actions led in these domains each years.
It includes:
- A presentation of the site,
- Measures taken for nuclear safety and radiation protection,
- Procedures for environmental monitoring and protection,
- A list of initiatives for integration into territories, notably in terms of transparency and information,
