STMI: the nuclear cleanup specialist

Soci´t´ des Techniques en Milieu Ionisant (STMI) is a service company specialized in nuclear cleanup. It offers technical assistance services in standard security and radiation protection, material management, supervision and consulting assistance in quality assurance.
Covering more than one-third of the nuclear cleanup market in France, STMI responds to the needs of its customers in four domains:
- Waste and effluent treatment and processing.
- Cleanup and decontamination.
- Dismantling.
- Radiation protection and nuclear measurements.
STMI is also an industrial operator. As such, various operators have assigned STMI responsibility for production and maintenance in their facilities:
- SOCODEI for the Nuclear center for processing and conditioning low-level radioactive waste (CENTRACO),
- CEA in Cadarache and Saclay,
- ANDRA for the Center in Aube and the low-level waste storage center.
