30 years of activity have made the JSPM plant at Jeumont a benchmark in the production of equipment for nuclear reactors. The facility's experts also provide the maintenance services inherent to this activity.

Complete and modern equipment

JSPM is a 100% subsidiary of AREVA providing Solutions for Nuclear Reactor Pumps and Devices for more than 30 years now, whether:

  • new components,
  • replacement parts,
  • associated services.

The plant has a usable area of 70,000m&up2; located in Jeumont (North). It is equipped with the very latest equipment.

Nuclear equipment manufacturing

With a total cumulative experience of more than 1,500 years, JSPM has installed:

  • more than 220 reactor coolant pump sets.
  • 5,300 control rod controlling mechanisms.
  • 1,500 auxiliary engines.
  • 200 backup generators.

Maintenance programs

JSPM boasts expertise developed in maintenance programs on more than 110 reactors built by various companies:

  • More than 50 on site interventions a year for maintenance of reactor coolant pump sets.
  • More than 65 replacement vessel covers and 120 operations to replace rod cluster control assemblies in 10 years.
  • More than 30 hydraulic sections, 25 engines and 100 joint systems are assessed and repaired in the hotshop every year.
