Axilya, the AREVA group’s established center of expertise in risk management, has now become AREVA Risk Management Consulting SAS. The entity extended its range of services through its association with RM Consultants Ltd in 2008, an acquisition which has also increased the group’s specialist technical in risks management.
Thanks to a team combining experience and innovation, AREVA Risk Management Consulting SAS, a subsidiary of the Propulsion and research reactors Business Unit, has secured recognized expertise in the following areas:
- environmental risk analysis,
- safety studies and impact assessment studies,
- human factors.
Now operating as AREVA Risk Management Consulting SAS, the company has an excellent knowledge of the regulatory procedures and bodies which govern nuclear activities in France. This strengthens the group's position in this area, both with regards to the fuel cycle and reactor construction projects.
AREVA Risk Management Consulting SAS is based in Aix-en-Provence, Bagnols/Cèze, Toulouse and Saclay, in France.
