ELTA: electronics for harsh environments

ELTA markets, develops, produces and ensures the operational readiness of electronic equipment and systems for harsh service conditions. The company is located in Blagnac, in South West France. It recently acquired the company SMP to extend its wireless communications and radio frequencies offer.

ELTA is a subsidiary of AREVA TA (66%) and the German group OHB Technology (34%). The company headquarters have been based at Blagnac (Toulouse, France) since 1975.

The aerospace market represents 50% of sales revenue; the other half is provided by the defense, rail transit and energy markets.
