Primary coolant pump body machining at the Jeumont site

The JSPM currently employs around 500 people and makes a revenue of 100 million Euros. 40 years of development has enabled the site to reach such a level of performance.

 

  • 2010 : Inauguration of the JSPM Test Centre in Maubeuge.
  • 2009 : JSPM buys ThyssenKrupp site and locations in Jeumont to build workshop extensions.
  • 2008 : First stone laid at AREVA subsidiary JSPM’s new test center at Maubeuge.
  • 2006: AREVA transferred the JEUMONT SA electromechanical operations to Altawest. The nuclear activities of JEUMONT SA are maintained and became JSPM.
  • 2005 : Birth of AREVA Dongfang joint-venture, located in Deyang in China.
  • Since 1999: Jeumont extends its resources to supplying components (joints and hydraulics) for all types of Westinghouse pumps with a view to covering the American and Asian markets. For the EPR™ reactor program, JSPM develops a RCP from a N4 type technological upgrade of the RCP.
  • Eighties: Jeumont develops its own design for the supply of RCPs intended for the French N4 1450MW program.
  • Late seventies: Jeumont purchases the license and obtains equipment for manufacturing standard 7&uot; joints (CP900) and 8&uot; joint inserts (CP 1300).
  • Early 1970: Jeumont commits to production of reactor coolant pump assemblies (RCP) and RCP 93D and 100 type RCP engines and rod cluster control assemblies complying with the Westinghouse license and design.
