History

For more than 20 years, SOMANU has been developing its operational buildings. A look back at the facility's major milestones.
- 2006 : sales of electromechanical operations by Jeumont SA which remained within the AREVA group and became JSPM. This is also SOMANU's parent company.
- December 2003: permit acquired for construction of a new extension to the storage building.
- January 1996: permit acquired for construction of a new extension to the storage building.
- 1988 : permit acquired for construction of the storage building for contaminated parts within the BNI (Basic Nuclear Installation) perimeter.
- September 1986: SOMANU workshop goes operational.
- August 1986: authorization by ministerial decree of liquid waste.
- 1985 : foundation by Jeumont-Schneider of its subsidiary SOMANU for maintenance of equipment having been operated in nuclear power plants.
