I&C Mobile Training Center (United States): mobile training

AREVA offers custom-training on TELEPERM digital instrumentation and controls for American nuclear power plant operators who use such technology. This training is provided in a specially equipped truck, on the power plant site itself.
An on-site training program at power plants
These programs have been designed to meet a specific demand on the American market: training that meets the accreditation criteria for the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO).
This custom-made training takes into account the:
- particularities of each power plant, along with its instrumentation and control systems,
- skill level and responsibilities of operators.
Customers therefore gain the skills and expertise necessary to control, maintain, detect faults and repair the instrumentation and control systems provided by AREVA.
By designing this on-site mobile training center and offering training to its American customers at their power plants, AREVA complements its comprehensive equipment repair and software solutions.
The advantages of this solution
There are many benefits presented by well-equipped mobile training:
- Times and availability suited to each operator's needs
- Training provided as close as possible to the nuclear power plant
